This is Avalan the Draik (the dragon one) and Kaveri the Airax (the phoenix one).
Avalan is just a baby, she cannot fly yet as her wings are not fully developed. She would love to be able to fly like Kaveri can, but i'm sure she'll figure out how too as she gets older  Isn't she just adorable? I admit she's one of my favourite characters to draw because of her complex patterns and markings (which are taken from a variety of African animals, if you hadn't already figured that out ~_^) This took me a while to complete, around an hour a day for about 5-6 days. |
